Please help support Service Coordination Unlimited, Inc.in the Highmark Walk by spreading the word! Now is the time to register to participate with Service Coordination Unlimited in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community presented by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield on May 9, 2020 at Stage AE on the North Shore, May 30th, 2020 at Beach 11 at Presque Isle State Park, Erie, PA and June 6th, 2020 at NEPA at PNC field in Moosic, PA.

 

Registration is at 7:45am the day of the event or you can pre-register online:

You can register as a participant or team by visiting https://www.walkforahealthycommunity.org/whc3/index.shtml and selecting Register Now and filling out the registration information.

 

You can register as a walker or virtual participant and then ask friends, family, and others for support. Donors can donate by visiting https://www.walkforahealthycommunity.org/whc3/locations/pgh.shtml (Pittsburgh Walk) and/or

https://www.walkforahealthycommunity.org/whc3/locations/erie.shtml (Erie Walk) and/or https://www.walkforahealthycommunity.org/whc3/locations/nepa.shtml (NEPA Walk).

 

Choose Donate to the Organization, or you can choose Donate to a Participant or Team by searching, or choose Donate Now, enter donation information.

 

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is a fundraiser that benefits local nonprofit health and human service agencies, including Service Coordination Unlimited. Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield underwrites the cost of the walk so that 100% of the money raised by walkers goes directly to support our goal of providing the highest quality coordination of services to all persons with disabilities, empowering them in their pursuit of independence and interdependence as we strive for a full and inclusive community. 

 

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community provides food, entertainment and prizes and fun activities for children are available after the walk. In addition, free health screenings and valuable health information are available after the walk. All registered walkers (not virtual walkers) who raise or donate $30 will receive a Walk for a Healthy Community T-shirt while supplies last. For every $50 donated, you will receive one chance for raffle prizes valued at more than $1,000.

 

Register now at https://www.walkforahealthycommunity.org/whc3/index.shtml to join the 5K or One-Mile Fun Walk or as a Virtual Walker and raise funds to support Service Coordination Unlimited, Inc. The 5K Walk begins at 9:00am and the One Mile Fun Walk begins at 9:15am.

SCU makes sure I get the services I need. Without my attendant services, I could not get out of bed in the morning and without assistance with transportation I would not be able to get to my volunteer job. This means everything to me. My service coordinator is there when I need him.
